VET Educator’s Handbook and training on autism-inclusive Recruitment and Retention

Activity 3 will focus on the creation of a thorough and useful tool that gives VET instructors the tools they need to teach B&P managers how to create a working culture that welcomes people with autism. The Handbook will include learning objectives, integrated learning strategies, and practical/interactive tasks that offer both in-person and online guidance, providing accessibility and flexibility. The Handbook will use a motivational approach and take inspiration from the thematic units described in the IMPRINT Manual (A2). It will also offer educators a structured framework to help them train managers and learners on autism-inclusive hiring, training, and retention while promoting meaningful understanding and active engagement.
